Two brewery platforms, an ocean apart
Ollie started as Ollie Order, a marketplace from Vancouver, and has been owned since 2021 by Next Glass, the US company behind Untappd. Together with the acquired production software FermentAble, it is now production and ERP software for beer, spirits, cider, RTDs and seltzers, with TTB reporting, keg and packaging inventory, self-distribution and the webshop and events tool Oznr. Ollie connects to QuickBooks Online and publishes its pricing: Ops costs 201 and Standard 366 dollars per month, Premium is on request. There is no free plan or free trial, but you can book a demo.
BrewerSync is brewery management software from the Netherlands, built around European practice: excise for the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Austria with the rates you set and confirm, an AGP register that feeds the return, the deposit report, tank planning and cost per batch, and connections to Moneybird and Exact Online, including Peppol. The application and website are available in Dutch, English, German and French. You start with 30 days free with all modules, no credit card required; after that you continue on a free plan for small volumes or choose a paid tier.

Who is behind Ollie?
Ollie is owned by Next Glass, the US company behind Untappd. It started as Ollie Order, a marketplace from Vancouver, and was combined in 2021 with the Californian production software FermentAble. In October 2025 Next Glass also acquired Ekos, so Ollie and Ekos are now sister products. BrewerSync is developed in the Netherlands and is not affiliated with Next Glass.
Which is the better choice for a European brewery?
It depends on how you work. If you want excise for the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany or Austria with an AGP register and deposits, work in Dutch, German or French and keep your books in Moneybird or Exact Online, BrewerSync was built for that. If you produce in the United States, make other beverages too or work with QuickBooks Online and Untappd, Ollie is a strong option.
